Overall: Quiet. good value for the money though basic accomodation. Good breakfast. Located close to where we wanted to be. Some nice restaurants close by (would highly recommend the Wild Elephant Thai restuarant. (108278121)

In house staff were super! Breakfast was very good. The lady (housekeeper) in residence did her best to make us feel welcome and explained why the obvious deficiencies were there. The room and dining room were very clean and no bad smells or unwarranted noise in the hotel.
We were asked to phone to confirm our booking. The hotel owner allowed his (apparently) very young child to answer the phone and continue with the conversation - very unprofessional. The building itself was being cleaned (in depth) by the housekeeper as when she could make the time. She seemed largely unaided by any investment from the hotel owner. The experience was one of participating of a work in (very slow and poorly funded) progress.
Overall: I might stay here again if only to see how things progress. I would certainly not have retained my booking if I had been staying more than one night. (108348178)

Staff at hotel were friendly and gave a warm welcome.
Linen was rather thread bare and had holes in some instance - towels
Overall: Good. We were taking daughter to University and hotel was close to hand which made things easy to deal with. Staff were helpful. (108383190)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
