Friendly staff and good priced food in the bar
Noisey rooms on the front of the hotel, only 2 TV channels, dated bathroom with a single stream of water for a shower, room lights without shades etc.

Gareth, the manager, was excellent - welcoming and hospitable, as were all the staff. The food was good value and of a high quality, and the hotel exactly as described. Tea and coffee facilities in the room much appreciated. Parking was easy. Hotel perfectly situated in the centre of town.
Shower not great, and a leaking cold tap in the basin (more than a drip). Shade missing from left hand over-bed lamp, and recently cleaned, uncracked glass in the window would have been good.
Overall: The criticisms are relatively minor - the hotel might have a slightly shabby feel but it was great for a short stay and the friendly staff, general cleanliness helped to make us feel very welcome. We're already planning our next visit. (107964287)
