We were not informed of the change in name from Roma to Roker, which proved a problem finding the hotel. Staff not helpful when we arrived and demanded money straighway. One towel between four people for the weekend. They said we should take our own. There were 6 of us altogther in two rooms. Mattresses were uncomfortable, no underblankets, sheets did not fit and bed covers and carpets looked dirty. We were also told that we should be paying twice the rate. Breakfast only served between 9 - 9.30. 30 mins is not enough time to serve everyone. Standard of food was poor. Shower door was not fixed, so could not close it.
Overall: Would not stay there again. Another couple booked in on the Friday night and left early Saturday morning saying it was disgusting in the hotel. The hotel is in desparate need of updating. (107758182)
bed linen was clean and bathroom was reasonably clean,breakfast was ok but did worry that the kitchen was probably as dirty as the rest of the hotel
