Fairly large simple but comfortable room.
Dogs are allowed.
The "hotel" is in fact a traditional quite cosy english pub with some rooms attached. Simple usual pub food.
This is not necessarily a bad point but should be made clear.
Breakfast is only from 9.00 a.am.
We left at 8.00 a.m. to catch the ferry, so they sent a tray with some very basic breakfast items including one dry croissant and one very dry bread roll. Totally inadequate.
Tiny TV
Overall: Not bad for a stop over en-route to Dover but much overpriced.

Food, location, friendliness.
Cleanliness of Bathroom/Shower
Overall: My Wife and I found the Hotel comfortable and friendly, the food was excellent and the service very good, the room was spacious and bright although a little more attention to detail would have made for a slightly better experience, overall the stay was value for money and one we would do again.

We had a very nice stay and would use again and recommend to friends and family, kettle was a bit funny room 5 , the only thing maybe the hotel could look into for the future would be to have mini shampoo, conditioner, soap, moistures etc in the bathroom.

Large room, ground floor level, firm mattress, good cooked breakfast but only available from 9 o'clock.
No heating, although still cold in May and room directly accessed from outside; Lights left on outside all night, thin curtains.
Overall: Fine for 1 overnight.
