room clean & nicely decorated, television good,tea facilities good,breakfast excellent.

No hot water until 8.15am, no hair drier, no shower only push on shower attachment that would not stay on the taps, no indication that the room was on the 3rd floor with no lift (one of my group was on crutches!) Every spring could be felt in the mattress so it was a good job that there was a spare duvet to use as a topper!

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
