Excellent experience in a most pleasant small hotel. Lovely quiet room, in a most comfortable bed, and with plenty of pillows.

There were none. I was amused that the smell of fish in the foyer (presumably from the evening meal) and which I thought might be endemic in the place, was not evident upstairs and was completely gone in the morning!!

Some pleasant bar staff. The room was clean and tidy.

Laundry almost permanently strewn in corridor. When we left a phone charger in the room on the last day, despite going back twice, we were left wanting. The result was that we have lost a very expensive charger.

Overall: In general we found the stay adequate, though the decor was a bit at odds with the actual style of the house.  (107859316)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
