Friendly and welcoming, the lodge facilities were very clean with nice little touches making you feel at home. A good selection of food on offer, very well presented and enjoyable.

Only bad point, sweet after evening meal, was still frozen when it came to the table and was a brought in sweet, when a freshly made one would have been better.

The food was absolutely excellent and well thought out. The bar was a lovely space to sit in, as was the terrace. The hotel owners were very pleasant. We enjoyed the spacious room and being able to kick back and watch television to chill out before our evening meal. It's convenient for Tenby and Saundersfoot. The parking was never a problem, always enough space for us even though the hotel seemed to be up to capacity.
A very minor thing is that I couldn't get a wi-fi connection, but as I am not very confident in doing this anyhow, it may have been a technical glitch my end. I felt a bit awkward ringing the reception bell to drag someone out to attend to me (but response was always quick and for a small hotel probably the most efficient way to do this).
Overall: There was good information online to give me a picture of what this hotel offered, but I was still nervous about things going okay. I needn't have worried, we had a very warm welcome and it was a fabulous and relaxing time away from home. (108350558)
