noisy room, poor maintenance, thin walls

Spectacular location and facilities. It was just so relaxing sitting on the decking outside our room. Staff at the desk were extremely helpful. Restaurant and food were excellent.
The buildings need a bot of maintainance here and there but none of this bothered us at all.

Location
Club House service was terrible. We checked in at 19:30 but could not get dinner till 21:00 and then we had to wait a further 15 minutes because the table was not cleared. Same at breakfast next morning. had to wait 15 minutes for table.
Overall: If booking Half-Board, the Hotel booking should include a booking time for Dinner. We were made to feel that we were lucky to get meal of any kind. Our meal at the Oaks Restaurant on Saturday evening was excellent. This was booked at check-in. (108528536)

inability to charge my mobile phone so could not kep in contact with family and could not use in an emergency situation whilst out cycling in the hills
