nice fod good info on whiskey

when checked out and leaving , I recommand hat the people at the reception desk inform/remember foreigners to drive at the left side. I did leave the hotel and had a car accident on the road up the hill ! total loss, just because I did forget I was in the UK

The hotel has a delightful situation on the banks of the Tweed and adjoins the picturesque ruins of Dryborough Abbey. The staff are warm and welcoming, food is good with excellent service at table. Our bedroom and the public rooms were attractive and comfortable. The hotel is smart but has an informal, friendly atmosphere, fishing rods, bicycles, dogs and walking boots all welcomed. The hotel is on the coast and castles cycle route,we enjoyed cycling straight out of the carpark into the quiet and beautiful countryside.
