the room was appalling. none of the windows were closing. the service was poor.

Beds comfortable and clean

When we arrived, no-one was on reception and I had to call the hotel on my mobile to get some attention. A large crack was in the wall. Carpets were stained (Room 4). No hot water and shower not working. Breakfast was miniscule. No coffee served until the end. The kitchen ran out of bacon and started serving ham. No-one was on reception when we checked out.

Comfortable bed

Nobody on reception when arrived had to go and find someone.Waited 15 minutes. Booked breakfast for 8.15am.Chef had been sent home as thought I said 9.30am so waited 30 minutes for him to arrive.No plug in sink in bathroom.

Decent room, staff polite and helpful

Reservation had not been received at the hotel, possibly due to printer being out of ink, broken table which looked like had been broken in a fight right placed on chair next to reception desk. Wi-fi did not work.

the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast good.

Receptionest was doubling as barmaid. did better job as barmaid. forgot key when showing us to room. Room: no bath plug. bedside light not working. curtains not attatched to rail. television aerial socket hanging off wall. UHT milk of dubious quality for coffee.

Overall: The room was perfectly clean,but general condition of hotel was shabby. If I was away working on my own this hotel would be fine,but not for a couple.  (107807204)
