Beautifully quiet and peaceful. Comfortable room with lovely shower room en suite. Really good breakfast with great selection of perfectly cooked and cold food. Will be back

Overall: Fantastic, great food in the resturant.. best duck ever and I'm not generally a fan, book treatments in advance but they are expensive and not necessary as there is lots to do  (97451623)

The sense of space in the room was fantastic. The food in the restaurant for dinner was limited but what was on offer would have catered for all tastes. Generous portions too. The Spa area was quiet (it was Friday evening in November) and relaxing.

Overall: I really enjoyed the luxury of this hotel which was offered at a fair price. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The only bad points were that the windows of the bedroom could have done with a wash, the shower could do with a shelf and the lever for the plug of the sink in the bathroom was so close to the wall that my hand hit the wall everytime I opened and closed it. (The latter problems are more the fault of the builder than the hotelier. Who was the builder? I would recommend the hotel to anyone but not the builder!!)  (97038161)

High standards throughout the hotel and the spa facilities

Overall: All relevant information was provided via the website and the hotel did not disappoint. Personal highlights were the restaurant and the spa facilities both of which were exceptional. Would return and recommend.  (97688812)

The spa facilities were very good and the rooms were well appointed in bright modern decor. Lovely grounds to the hotel, nice walk from the carpark.

The service and food in the restaurant were terrible. Totally understaffed.

Overall: This is a spa hotel and doesn't cater for children in anyway. The spa facilities are lovely..the only reason I would go back, but the service and food in the restaurant would be enough to put me off going again. At breakfast no bowls/plates asked 3 times for tea & toast, ended up making my own tea, never got the toast. Service seems to be an issue in the restaurant at breakfast time, both mornings we were there. The evening meal we had sampled the last time we stayed and checked out the menu this time as it hadn't changed we didn't bother with dinner it was that tasteless the last time. They really do need to improve their menu for dinner. No mobile phone coverage in the hotel, but some guy was rudely using his blackberry in the spa area while the therapists looked on. Staffing again! This is a relatively new hotel, which needs to iron out its staffing problems.  (99015728)
