excellent modern room clean and well maintained. Food was of good quality and in most cases reasonably priced

Breakfast was not included and although reasonably set priced additional sundry items are very expensive.

Overall: very enjoyable  (108718635)

generally the hotel was clean and spacious.

our room was not ready when we checked in, the staff had to clean around us.we did not have clean towels. the check in desk was understaffed. the handle on the bathroom door was broken. the staff at breakfast were not particularly friendly. the breakfast is not of good value.

Overall: we stayed at a very busy weekend so can understand that the staff were rushed and busy. overall this seems like a stopover hotel more suitable for business than leisure. the staff are not friendly and do not appear to value their customers. i would not stay here again for a leisure break, but for business people who want anonymity and basic hotel standards, then this hotel would suffice.  (107432952)

Staff very helpful.

Booking made through yourselves was not registered at the hotel, fortunatley rooms were available. I received your registration number, peace of mind, and because of the failure I felt let down by the system. I will try the system again on my next trip, if I'm let down I will not use Active Hotels again.

Overall: Enjoyed my stay.  (107882559)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
