The room itself was OK and we had a good breakfast
You mention check in process,this was non existence. When we arrive the place seemed deserted, we only got someone to show us our room by phoning the telephone no.stated.

Overall: The Chequers is a lovely inn in the middle of nowhere which we discovered by chance on the internet. Our welcome was very warm and friendly when we arrived for our 2-night stay and the standard of the food and accommodation was very high. Husnu and Roberta are lovely hosts and they make sure you are very well looked after. We had dinner in the restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was excellent - the only problem was deciding what to choose from the well- balanced menu! The cooked breakfast was also very good and nicely served. Highly recommended! (108378129)
