On arrival, Donna the receptionist was very helpful and was extremely welcoming throughout our stay. My wife developed a rash, believed to be a reaction with soap powders used on bedding. Tania the young lady in breakfast restaurant/reception sorted out changing them or washing them for us. All staff encountered I rated as 9 out of 10. I enjoyed our stay and would definately stay again. Hotel well placed in Durham.

Staff were extremely courteous and helpful at all times. Hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. Very close to centre of city but still quiet. Good car parking facilities in multi-storey behind hotel.
Length of time taken for meals to arrive from the kitchens! Average length of wait from time of ordering was between 30 - 40 minutes, however food was very good when it did arrive. Many items on the menu were unavailable during my 6 day stay restricting choice a little.
Overall: Excellent experience. No hesitation in recommending it. It is a no-frills hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff made the stay very pleasant. (107660986)
