the staff were first class, polite and helpful,

Overall: a short but pleasant visit. a little more expensive than some hotels of similar standard. no hesitation in booking a jurys in future.  (108676426)

At £79 including vat and breakfast the deal was more competitive than booking directly on the Jury's Inn site.

I ate in the hotel and ordered a caesar salad which was very soggy and drenched in caesar sauce. I therefore only ate half of it. On checking in I asked the receptionist if i could book an extra night and she said there was no availability. I said if cancellations occurred during the day could I be contacted. She said there would not be any. On checking out on the saurday I asked the same receptionist who had been on duty the previous evening if any cancellations had occurred and she still said it was full. I once again asked to be contacted if this changed, which she said was pointless as there would not be any spaces. At about 6pm that evening I began ringing hotels around and was informed that the Jury's Inn had spaces, but when I called was quoted £165. I was not prepared to pay that price so went elsewhere. On checking out I also put a business card in an envelope and asked that it be given to a business contact in one of the rooms. When i checked with that person later the card had not been passed on.

Overall: Hotel facilities - fine. In general staff - fine. Food poor and receptionist impersonal, ill informed,inefficient.  (108928045)

This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
