Like a dirty house, not a hotel, should be sued under the trades description act. Dirty carpet hanging off stairs, stained sink, dirty bathroom, no toilet paper, noisy small room, no wardrobe just a metal frame over teasmade, bare creaky floors in room.
Overall: Horrendus - the only downside to visiting Edinburgh. Would NEVER, EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN. (108336449)

I did inform you when I booked the hotel ,that it was was for my son who was going to see a show.and that he was a vegetarian. when he went for breakfast they had no idea and nothing vegetarian prepared only could offer him eggs and tomato. who is to blame is anyone's guess. He did have a pleasant stay and was amazed with his room and service.so much so, that I am going to book the same hotel myself for a short stay.

Very comfortable bed. Convenient location opp Haymarket railway station.
I stayed in The Guard Room. Breakfast staff don't start until 8.30am, I needed to pick a hired car up by 9am so I couldn't get a breakfast. Most places I've stayed at start breakfasts from 7.30am. Floor of room was dirty and stained. NO WINDOW in room or bathroom so therefore room was very stuffy with no natural air(this was not mentioned on their website when booking). The kettle lead wasn't long enough to reach the shelf where the kettle was so I had to boil the kettle on the floor. The bathroom wasn't cleaned because there was still the liquid soap container from the previous occupier present. The TV had no remote control.
Overall: I will never stay here again and would not reccommend this hotel to anyone. It's probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. (107987393)
