the location to the ski lift is very near and can ski back directly to the hotel. Miss Cynthia from the resturant is very polite and helpful when ever we approach her, also there's a lady; i think is the resturant manager (sorry that i didnt get her name)is very polite too althought she doesnt seems to speck english and she is the most hard working staff in the resturant as the rest of the staff seems very new to the hotel and no ideal about customer service, even they saw the hotel guest is waiting at the entrance, they'll not approach or at least greet them first and tell them that they have to wait for a table, i even overheard two lady guest says help ! bcos they have been waiting at the entrance about 10mins and no staff even aknowledge them.
the housekeeping dept didnt repenish your shampoo even if you have finish them. Dinner is incl during our stay and i remember one night (sat - mar 10) the dinner was sucks, it serve only cheese;veg;potatoes (dont know what happen to the cook), my husband and i was so hungry that night after a full day ski and hopeing we can have something nice but...i dont recommand to take half board if i would stay in this hotel again as the food they serve are so cheap compare to other ski resorts we stay like chamonix, cervina, zematt etc. We stayed for 9 days and we had the same food during breakfast every morning (by the way the breakfast was great, but seems like those ham are left over from last night dnner). the worst experience we had are there's a french young guy from the resturant who can speck english but maybe when he see Asian and he can speck very clear english I DONT SPECK ENGLISH. Sad to know such behavior still exits in france as other france resorts staff are very good and their english already. Le Montana is a very nice location and simple hotel, they should brush up their customer orientation skills to attacts or retain their guest so that they can come back on the next seasons.
