Clean and tidy, generally very helpful staff

Overall: hotel near city centre, good location but is a bit noisy at night  (108212147)

Unplesant staff, especially at check in. No service minded staff at all. The room was not clean.

The accomodation is basic but more than adequate as somwhere to sleep. The staff were friendly and pretty helpful. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in easy reach of everything.

The smell in the corridor was rather less than pleasant! The decor was extremely poor and the athroom was very, very small

Overall: I would have liked an honest opiniom on the level of the hotel. when you read the website it is obviously extremely biased. All in all though we had a great stay and managed to visit the event that we were attending very successfully. We were in the room only to sleep so it was not a big deal for us.  (97856023)

It is 20 min. walk to the beach. It is in a central place oposite Gare du Nice where you can find restorants, shops, things to buy etc.

The lamps, one in the w.c and one in the room didn't work, nobody came to fix it, inspite that I asked it from the guy at the desk, and the other day the lady at the desk noted it on a paper. They didn't change towels during all our stay - 3 days (room 208). The breakfast was very(!) poor and they charged for that 5 EURO p.p. We were 5 persons, so for 25 EUROS we bought food for breakfast almost for one week... Even that the first day we ordered breakfast, when we entered the restorant nothing was ready (we were 2 families - 10 persons). So after we sat around the tables, the ladies started to prepare it. One brought paper to cover the table, another lady brouhgt glasses, another brought caps, and so step by step came the knife, butter, milk etc. All that position was very embarrassing and made us feel like poor people waiting for their bread. The a/c worked very poor (room 208). A button on the panel was broken and they didn't fix it (even that I informed to the guy at the desk). The rooms are very very small. You are able to take a shower only without moving, the shower spot is so nerrow, that it's very difficult to wash (like a cell in prison).

Overall: If something is broken, please fix it. You don't have to charge 5 EUROS for a so poor breakfast. If your gest is complaining about something, do your best to fix it, or to tell him that it is impossible for some reasons (so that he should know).  (99810794)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
