Good location near the old port. Quiet at night. Air conditioning.

The most uncomfortable bed (hard and lumpy) we have had this year - possibly ever. Bath/Shower had fixed glass screen, no bath mat and no anti-slip coating on the bath and was dangerous. Shower itself was not all that good. Toilet was unconfortable to sit on. It was circular and too high. Bathroom floor was lethal when wet. No comment on breakfast - other reviews said it was expensive so we avoided it.

Overall: La Rochelle is a good place for a weekend but I would not stay at the same hotel. Plenty of things to see, plenty of places to eat and drink. Even better, take a day out in Ile de Re. Would definitely go there again.  (108899496)

Good position. Clean.

No fridge or coffe making facilities. Room very small

Very clean newly furnished room Helpful multi lingual reception staff

The bed was very hard and the pillows inadequate The payment had not been taken over the internet as expected

Good location, close to port and restaurants etc. Nice clean bathroom

9 euros a day to park, small room, expensive breakfast, much cheaper in nice places overlooking the port.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
