The size of the room. The view. The comfortable gigantic bed. The room echoed history.
The small TV screen. No internet cable coonection. No DVD playback machine.
Overall: The area adjacent to the hotel compound....tacky industrial area, but once inside the hotel compound, you stepped back into a time of gracious living. I should add that the hotel's status would greatly benefit if: The hotel had a spa & wellness centre Internet cable in every room A more inviting bar / lounge area 24 hour room service The staff was most curteous, but did not, in appearance, reflect the general ambiance of the hotel. Das historische Gebäude, die Anlagen, die ruhige Lage am Stadtrand mit Park am Flussufer, der Aufenthalsraum (Vorzimmer), die bequemen Betten
Zimmer (im Nebengebäude) erwiesen sich als muffig, im Bad stank es zeitweise nach Rauch (undefinierbare Herkunft; ev.Probleme mit der Lüftung)
Overall: Unsere Erwartungen an ein 4-Sterne-Haus sind in den 5 Tagen, die wir hier zugebracht haben, nur z.Teil erfüllt worden: zu wenig Platz für Kleider, Koffer. Dem Frühstücksbuffet würden mehr Frischprodukte gut anstehen und werden bei diesem Preis erwartet.Preis/Leistung nicht unbedingt gegeben. Allgemein reger Personalwechsel; ein richdtiger Ansprechpartner fehlt. Aus diesen Gründen kann Hotel für längeren Aufenthalt nur bedingt empfohlen werden. (97643131)
