very close to the beach
no lounge area to relax, could do with a large screen TV
Overall: very good for a few days stay, very friendly staff, helpful. very knowledgeable about the local areas. 15-20 minutes from BIARRITZ airport, buses run every 1/2 hour in the morning and every hour in the afternoon.5 minutes walk from bus stop to the hotel. (107733618)

The house keeping was very well maintained on a daily bases.The hotel is situated amongst three lovely beaches, two of which are home to surfers/quite large waves and one which is quite a deal clamer from families and people who are less comfortable in rough waters.
There is no air conditioning in the hotel, but luckily we did not require it even though tempreatures reached 25 degrees.
Overall: Overall excellent holiday,fair accomation that was well maintained. (107273091)

Return to Hotel Anjou- room was much better than initial room
Initial room was small, depressing and gloomy. Iron bars at window and darkness of room made it seem more like a prison. Two lots of lights did not work after arrival. Very expensive for what it was.
Overall: Ok second time around, but first stay very disappointing. (97407266)

The hotel was in an excellent location and was clean.
The hotel is a bit run down and lacked a lounge area.
Overall: This is more of a B&B than a hotel, so long as you don't want luxury it is OK, it reminded me of student accommodation in the 1960s. It could do with some investment to upgrade the bathrooms and redecoration throughout. Having said that the owners were very friendly and for a short break right in the centre of Biarritz it is in an excellent location. (97347456)
