Romantic appearance of chateau, excellent food and service.
You don't get to stay in the chateau if you stay in the medium-priced rooms, on the other hand the Orangerie rooms are quite comfortable. The restaurant is fairly-priced for the quality of the food, but some might be surprised by the relatively-high prices.

Clean hotel & helpful staff. Easy to find with signs at nearby roundabout and good parking available. Quiet area but within short distance of shops and nearby town.
Not aware at time of booking that stay would be in new building on the site rather than the Chateau itself.
Overall: Ideal location for 2 day stop over during our tour of France. Would definately stay again. (97718328)

The room was clean, close to facilicites in Perigueux by car. Evening meal and service were good.
The carpet to the rooms was grubby and the Orangerie was dark to find our way around first time after a long trip.
Overall: Generally an ordinary, good value room and just what the previous reviews had prepared us for. The evening meal was expensive but enjoyable as a special treat. (97217505)
