The cleaners were very noisy in the morning so there was no chance of a lay in if you wanted one.

The accommodation was very good better than expected. Layout a bit strange but overall value for money.

I was in a single room situated on the ground floor beside the reception and could hear everyone coming back to their room in the early hours of the morning.

Overall: The accommodation was very good and staff were very helpful. The directions to getting to the hotel from the website are quite vague but with a detailed map it was fine. If requesting a single room ask for one above the ground floor. However overall a excellant location and I would definitely return to this hotel. Definitely value for money considering the location and the hotel itself.  (97894581)

It is a very cute hotel in a narrow alley, makes you feel like it is part of old Paris and that you are on a adventure. We had a view of the Eiffel Tower, although it was just a small bit, it was still something.

We stayed on the 4th floor and could hear what the other guests were doing in their rooms. Normaly it would not worry me, but, we travelled with a baby and all the activity woke him up a lot. We stayed in a room facing the alley and could hear the rubbish truck during the night, when they came to collect the rubbish.

Overall: We took the bus from Orly airport and got off at the Air France building in the city, it would help if there is an indication of where to take the Metro and at which stop to get off. The pillows in the room were very very old and i would suggest they change it. We travelled with a baby and the staff made sure that there was a baby bed in our room on our arrival. The hotel is very very close to the Eiffel tower and there are many lovely restaurants just around the corner from it.  (99870466)

While small, it was incredibly tasteful, good eye for decor and customer service.

The fact that the washroom is far away from the toilet, and that generally, it is not accessible to people with disabilities. I traveled in a leg cast.

Overall: Loved it, will definitely stay there again, great location, quaint, would suggest a bit more diversity for breakfast, given the cost of it.  (99495355)

Convenient location and very good value for Paris

The noise from the adjoining room on the 4th floor and the noisy/hot rubber(?) under-sheet on the bed

Overall: Excellent value for money, good sized rooms for this part of Paris, ease of getting to the hotel (quite near a metro station) and the good location between Eiffel Tower and Invalides in a releatively quiet road. Good value buffet breakfast and friendly/helpful male staff (one of the female staff was less apparently customer-friendly). Room facilities were good although the bathroom might be considered small by US visitors' standards. Free use of the safe in the rooms was useful. The ground floor room off the courtyard might have felt insecure in the summer but was quiet and the noise from the adjoining bedroom in the 4th floor bedromm could be troublesome.  (99559780)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
