It was a real highlight of our journey. We had previously stayed at L'ecrin in Honfleur which was abysmal by comparison.This family operated hotel is a real gem and we will return.

Personal service - manager tried to be most helpful but seemed pressurised
No welcome tray of tea/coffee etc. - this was a significant disappointment.
The price of the breakfast at 12 Euros per person this was over the top. Much better buffet breakfasts were had elsewhere for 8 Euros per person

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and well presented.
Overall: We had previosly seen the hotel having visited the area last year and its external appearance and location was such that we decided that should we return we would stay there . We were not disappointed . The accommodation was comfortable ,the room well equiped with views over the gardens to Gourdon .We were made extremely welcomed on arrival ,the staff were pleasant and helpful ,and our decision to stay for evening dinner was a good choice with the food and service excellant . Would have no hesitation in returning for a longer period rather than just an overnight stay on our way to the South of France . (99669348)

Extremeley friendly and accommodating staff and proprietor.
The accommodation was adequate, clean, comfortable and good value.
Overall: Breakfast was a first class continental breakfast. Dinner was first class, well cooked and well presented in an ambient restaurant. I consider that the hotel is amongst the best in the region in terms of quality for value for money and ideally located to enjoy the Lot and Dordogne regions. (99816583)
