Excellent pool and pool garden. Friendly and efficient staff who like small children. Very good continental breakfast. No petty rules or officeous signs.
The decor, carpets, lighting, furnishings, bathrooms are all tired, worn, rather shabby and outdated. It is like university student standard. It needs complete refurbishment. We think it maybe suits its normal clientel, but we need something fresher.

Relaxed atmosphere
The price of the poor quality breakfast, which was only availble to be eaten in bedroom. We only ordered this once in view of our inital experence.

The rooms are clean, the bathroom / toilet fine. We had a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice, but it was a little too cold to go for a swim.
Overall: The hotel owner and his wife are excellent. We stayed for one night whilst walking the GR65. I found the couple friendly, informative and hotel aside very intersting to talk to. We didn't eat at the hotel but breakfast and room service were excellent. Many thanks John & Alice (99262510)
