Close to TGV railway station. Close to sports bar (to watch the Rugby World cup). Hotel was cheap, unpretentious, clean, and manned when we needed it. We asked for a wakeup call and got it on time. Despite its main street location, noise was not a problem. We slept like tops.
A minor complaint is the room key is a bit of an IQ test when locking the room when you exit it. (You have to push a credit-card like piece of plastic into a slot and simultaneously turn the door handle).
Overall: We stayed overnight en route to Paris CDG from Chalon. We were able to check in to our room immediately on arrival - before midday. This freed us to visit Dijon unencumbered by our luggage. The hotel is not flash, but has the essentials. It was clean. Unlike similar hotels in this class, the desk was manned the whole time we were there. (97797005)
