clean room, fairly comfortable (reflected the price per room), reasonably close to the airport/motorways, morning receptionist very cordial, breakfast available if required (at extra cost).

despite the confirmation stating that we could check in up to 23h00 the hotel was closed when we arrived at 22h20 and we could not get past the security gate into the car park. I walked around to the hotel entrance and found a telephone number to ring and was told by the woman that answered that check in was until 22h00. That said she gave me the codes to get in to both the car park and the hotel and advised that the keycard for the room had been left in the lock so we did gain access to the hotel & room. However, it was extremely dark round the hotel and very cold, -5C, plus i speak fluent french so conversing was not a problem - i think that a non-french speaker would probably have had a great deal more problems in even getting into the hotel let alone understanding where the key had been left. other points - no lift so had to drag cases up the stairs to the first floor - not easy to find despite being right on the main road as no signs (lit or otherwise) that are easily spotted from the road in the dark. - we requested a twin room (which was stated on the confirmation)and got a double and, since there was no hotelier/night staff on site, there was little we could do to change that.

Overall: If the confirmation had stated the correct check in hours it would have been a lot more convenient for both us and the hotelier. That said this hotel was perfectly fine for our purposes i.e. somewhere that offered good value for money for an overnight stay prior to catching an early morning plane the next day.  (107525532)

A very basic room and Hotel.Staff friendliness and the cleanliness of the room were the good points,particularly the receptionists who spoke excellent English.
