Front Desk was courteous and helpful. Rooms were adequate.

Hotel Maids began banging on the door to clean the room at 8AM and would return every 5 minutes until you gave in and let them clean your room.

Overall: Aside from the maid service it was a nice place to stay.  (97625865)

2.6 / 5 2.6 / 5 Amit [Burley, GB] on 04/06/2008 (Family with older children)

had a refrigerator, decent tv,

close to main railway station so that might be an advantage to some but its very noisy at nights and to be honest the immediate few streets take on a darker side of life after about 9-10 pm. i went with wife and baby and wouldnt recommend living close to the railway station if u are on a family break. also a good 20-30 mins walk from the promenade and other central tourist places like 'place masena' etc . the breakfast isnt much to talk about. the price in most place in nice is on the higher side and though nice is great i cant see how the hotels justify the price. i have stayed at much more pleasant hotels and B and Bs for half the price in the UK

Overall: if u have got small kids and are booking hotels of this nature make sure u get a double room of adequate size to put a cot bed or a cot in. for the same price of a double room they had rooms of different sizes. they dont think it make a difference what is offered and i had to change rooms twice before i found one that was acceptable.  (97198186)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
