parking directly in front of hotel with a card taken from reception, good connection to the downtown by s-bahn, heavy breakfast

noisy location - and mean realy very noisy, located in red light district, in ground floor of the building is a disco night bar, lady on the reception did not want to speak english, first thing I heard from her was "give me your credit card, you have to pay before you get your room"

Next to the station

Uncomfortable beds, dirty, awful neighborhood, covered with dust, strip club in the first floor which makes it terrible, entrance was old and lacked maintenance, very small rooms, staff barely spoke English.

Overall: Berlin was awesome but the hotel was terrible, we do not recommend it to anyone.  (107320435)

Good breakfast. Nice breakfast room. Courteous receptionist.

Very small double room. We were a couple, the room had 2 single beds. Room not very clean. Bad and shower room outside.

It is very convenient and close to the train station. The breakfast was very good. Wi-fi is also available which is very good.

We stayed on the first floor which is very noisy during the Euro 2008 games.

Overall: We are very happy to stay there!  (97489985)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
