Excellent breakfast, staff, cleanliness, location (quiet but close to all main city centre attractions).

Not really 'bad' points, but we missed hot drink making facility in our room. The mattress was very 'bouncy' and dipped in the middle. There was only one bedside lamp in the centre of the bed, rather than one either side. This meant that we both had to have the lamp on or off and one or the other of us was always hitting our head on it. This did little to affect the enjoyment of our stay - but we thought I would mention it.

Overall: Very good indeed - a memorable stay. We have recommended the hotel to friends who are planning a week in Berlin. Thank you for making our visit to Berlin very special.  (108270796)

The location was excellent and all facilities were good quality and in working order. Breakfast was pleasant and well served although very busy at 8.00am.

The recpetion is location in another hotel across the street with a name that was unfamiliar to me. If one could be advised at time of booking that reception is in another building there will be no sense of bewilderment on arrival no ringing of the bell!

Overall: The Albrecht Street address is within walking distance of the new main railway station if you know the direct route and a cab is inexpensive. It is 17 Euro approx. from the Airport, which is reasonable. You are next to Friedrich Strasse Bahnoff with access to SBahn and UB and I think DB (Deutsche Bahn)and a cheaper water tour service. The station has little shops with batteries, drinking water and snacks, so emergency essentials are close by. One can walk to Bundestag, Unter den Linden and parts of Tiergarten and theatre area. Locations is excellent. Hotel staff are courteous and generous, minding luggage in security locker for 8 hours after check-out and providing sensible advice re navigation in Berlin and transport options. Pleasant, homely atmosphere with a noticeable Christian ethic which may make many feel at home. Many young single, women were staying there and I can say it was a relief to have family oriented programs on the TV and no sex or war films and quiet hallways in the hotel at night. The small bar and restuarant were a nice place for a single diner or drinker to visit too. All services were efficiently carried out and help offered generously.  (99634008)

Food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, as was the service and very reasonably priced.

The bathroom was a bit cramped.
