A grand and beautiful hotel with homeliness and warmth. Perfect position on the Rhine for a tram ride into Bonn. The surrounding area is delightful. The town of Konigswinter has some good quality restaurants. Magical at Christmastime with all the lights. Good to watch the rivercraft from the restaurant in the hotel carrying coal, wood and other goods in very laden barges.
Absolutely nothing
Overall: Perfect position on the east bank of the Rhine with easy access by tram into Bonn. The hotel is old and elegant with fine decorations and welcoming efficient staff. Our room was very warm and cosy. We had clean towels each day. The food was good. made even better by the great view to the river Rhine from the restaurant. There is a small car park at the rear for patrons (there is a small charge for parking). A very beautiful place, even in December. (97966414)
