No air conditioning, it was 32, the windows let in no air, the room was unbelievably hot and it was impossible to sleep as there was one fan to cover 2 rooms. The restaurant was reserved for a coach party so we ended up at McDonalds. The hotel was in a remote part of Tours with nothing in walking distance. It was faded and run down, although it was clean. There was no overnight staff and in the morning we were ripped off by the vending machine which took our money but did not deliver the goods.

Overall: Unhelpful staff, run down exterior and rooms. Never again!  (107866364)

Friendly and well maintained and very helpful receptionist

Breakfast, had puree apple and yoghurt. Apple fermenting and was ill the day after.

Overall: Recommend to anyone wanting a reasonable price room of good quality.  (107845118)

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
