Close to the beach.
In the hotel's prospect it says that the hotel has been renovated. This can't be true. The 4th floor where we stayed reminded me of Eastern Germany in the eighties.
The beach was overcroaded.

the hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and was just over the road from the beach
the accommodation was quite basic.
Overall: there was no hair dryer or fridge in the room which i would have liked. however although the hotel was basic it was only a 3 star so that was acceptable. it was ideally placed for the beach although it was a little noisy during the night. on the whole our experience was good and we were happy with the price. I liked the fact that we could book a triple room. Usually an extra bed is just 'squashed' into a double room to accommodate my husband, myself and my daughter - but at this hotel, the room was set out with 3 single beds, with plenty of room to move around. Our request for a sea-view was granted and the balcony was superb.
Although the bathroom was surprisingly large, our enjoyment of it was spoilt by the toilet overflowing onto the floor every time it was used. Also, although there was a plentiful supply of towels - they were very thin and resembled tableclothes and tea-towels! The showerhead was also faulty and had to be hand-held as the holder on the wall was broken. Breakfast was another disappointment - once the cheese and meat had run out - it was not replaced, and this was at 08.15!
Overall: For a couple of nights stay, this hotel fit the bill perfectly - any longer and the breakfast and bathroom situation would have been a major irritation. Useful to note that even if you do not wish to use the beach beds/umbrellas until late afternoon, you will still be charged for a full day's use by the hotel. The beds/umbrellas shown in the hotel picture, were not the ones we were directed to, and those that we had to use were old wooden deckchairs - the majority of which were broken. This area of the beach was not kept very clean and had no rubbish bins close by. Overall though, not a bad hotel, and reasonably priced for a mini-break. (99585991)
