Spacious, clean, well-equipped, good view
Took three calls to get air-conditioning activated. The weather was still warm-hot, but the outside pool had been 'closed' for the winter.
Overall: We booked for two nights of a touring holiday and would not normally have chosen a 'business' hotel, but the location was ideal for visits to Taormina and Etna. On the whole, the staff were helpful, pleasant and efficient, especially in the restaurant. We were impressed with the overall high standards of cleanliness and good maintenance in all the public areas. What made our stay special was the two dinners which we had in the restaurant. We used it on the first night because we were too tired to look for a local restaurant and on the second because we had enjoyed the first dinner so much! The quality of the ingredients, the cooking, the presentation and the service were way above what one might expect in a 'conference hotel'. Moreover, the daily menu was very good value as were the wines on offer. We shall still remember those meals with pleasure long after we have forgotten everything else about the hotel! (99216821)
