This hotel was well placed, good value for exploring Modena, with very good local free parking.
Your payment sytems are faulty. I was asked for payment on departure from the hotel on 01/10/2009, and paid €110 cash. I have a receipt numbered XRFR 08620 /07. I did not have with me the full terms and conditions of booking for the hotel, and assumed that a credit card deduction had not already been made.
On arriving in England I find I had already been charged by credit card on the day I booked through booking.com (28/08/2009) £99.65, the equivalent of €110, according to your normal terms of booking in advance.
So, why did your reservation manager ask me to pay again?
Overall: Satisfactory, except that I should not have been charged twice. I hope the hotel will resolve this issue quickly. (108605940)

Short walk to citta centro
Broken shower head and toilet seat. When we told the front desk they apologized, but never fixed either item. It overlooks a rusting military base.
Overall: It's probably a good business hotel. Little old and worn, but clean and spacious (by european standards). It lacks the charm of the old hotels and the slickness of the new. If you just sleep there it's OK. Good breakfast. Nice little balcony, but it overlooks a military truck depot. Staff ranged from very helpful to totally disinterested. (97705405)
