forgetting to tell us that the restaurant would be shut on Sunday!
Overall: An comfortable, inexpensive "pied a terre" for visiting Siena and San Giminiano etc. Poggibonsi has several good Trattoria within walking distance. (108060897)

Room was adequate size, clean with modern, pleasant decore. Bathroom plumbing worked perfectly with no 'surprises'.
Overall: Hotel Alcide has an excellent value ristorante. The hotel, including ristorante staff, were very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel location makes it a great base for access to Siena, San Giminagno and the Chianti region for anyone with personal transport. (97164711)
