Hotel Firenze was close to the railway station which gave us quick access to the city of Venice. The room was clean and private and quiet

Overall: The hotel filled all our critera.  (107699039)

Right next to train station but not much noise. Lovely big room (superior rooms are big). Nice variety at breakfast - even scrambled eggs and bacon - rare at european breakfast buffets! Staff helpful.Laundromat close by. Used this as a base for exploring Cinque Terre - cheaper than staying in one of the towns, but a lovely hotel.

Maybe the rooms are a bit rough around the edges for those who are fussy, but we are backpackers on a budget and this place was luxury for us!

Served our purpose OK - to access Cinque Terre

Location near seedy parts of rail station region. View from wondow of rundown back courtyards

Overall: Hotel was adequate and comfortable but needs some updating - one of lifts broke down briefly during our stay and car parking garage was somewhat primitive. Breakfast was fine.  (97735931)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
