The location was excellent, the rooms were clean and the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was generous and delicious.
The room was quite small and the beds were also small and uncomfortably hard. I did not like the fact that we were asked for our passports at check in. In Canada, our officials say not to surrender passports to anyone but an immigration official. I did not understand the need to check in by giving the passport and having staff hold it for an hour. An elevator would have been very helpful, as I have recently had knee surgery and I had asked for a first floor room, but realized that was not possible when I arrived there.
Overall: Other than the points above, I was happy with my stay at the Bellariva. (107744192)
