This is a very small apartment style B&B family home with only five rooms,set within a gated premises rather like a farm house.Well presented comfortable bedroom and large bathroom with shower,toilet,washbasin & bidet. It is run by a couple who speak good English, the husband having worked in Manchester and Scotland.They are currently altering another section of the property to provide a small eating area for breakfast. Our breakfast was served in our rooms and included the typical Italian breakfast of breads, juice, cheese, jams/honey/croissant and coffee. There is also a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. It is more like staying with a family than at a hotel and we found it a delightful experience.
Overall: This is not for those who are expecting the full hotel treatment. It is a delightful B&B, very comfortable and homely. We needed a place to stay on our way home. The only minor problem was that there was no evening meal available but there was an extremely good Ristorante in easy walking distance. This is a home to home experience and if I am ever in this area again wanting an overnight stay, or a two or three day base from which to explore the area I would not hesitate to book it again. Quiet calm pretty house in small village
Overall: Would have preferred written directions to hotel once in Cassine as it was quite difficult to find from the map! Welcome from hostess was very friendly. She provided coffee & other drinks in the garden for no charge. The rooms were characterful & well equipped - even down to the provision of bottled water both fizzy & flat - unlike other hotels which charged for little bottles of water from the mini-bar. Everything spotless & well-maintained. Secure parking for car. Excellent restaurant in village a short walk away. Breakfast was good - excellent coffee! (99464407)
