Overall: I booked this hotel due to the website. I wanted to spend my 30th b'day in Rome so thought this was a good bet. How wrong I was. Basically the hotel is set in a residential apartment block and looks to me like some converted blocks. The room was not like the pretty pictures you see on the website. We paid extra for the priveledge of a 4 poster bed, which was a flimsy joke. This was not as advertised. The hotel is really far from the centre of Rome. Do not believe what is written on the fancy website. It is not 10mins drive away maybe 15-20mins by 20EUR taxi. Public transport is accessible but in reality takes ~1HR to get to the centre. Do not waste your time or money as we did. Very disappointing. (108159121)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?
48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
