Very good location just outside the city walls - especially convenient if travelling by car as hotel has free parking, and parking inside the city walls is very restricted. Good having bicycles available at the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very nice roof terrace.
Our room (a standard double) was rather small and the furnishings etc were a bit dull and old fashioned. The bathroom however was a good size, modern and spotlessly clean.
Overall: We really liked this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again if we visit Lucca again. If they could just update the standard rooms the whole hotel would be excellent (the more expensive rooms may be better - I'm not sure as we didn't see them). (108757228)
