The hotel was very peaceful and being able to sit outside in the evening with a plastic cup of wine (we had brought the bottle back from the restaurant)
The air conditioning did not work - no warning and in the morning were told it was because it was not yet June! As a stand alone unit it was had to believe although many folk also complained. The rate included breakfast but we were leaving early so got nothing - not even the offer of a packet of biscuits from the table. There are no facilities for eating or drinks - apart from a drinks machine. A coffee machine or kettle to help yourself would have been nice - or even some proper cups, glasses and a corkscrew if you wanted to bring a bottle or have a drink in the evening ....
Overall: The place has atmosphere and is convenient, but could be so much better with just a little more effort to make the guests feel welcome. (107773557)

Simple room, good shower/WC, excellent breakfast (the best in all hotels visited this year)lovely setting, secure parking.
Difficult location to find, a bit off the beaten track.

The fact that it was formerly a convent. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
The location was a bit farther than expected from the attractions we wished to visit while in Pisa.
Overall: This is a wonderful, quiet hotel off the beaten path in Pisa. As a former convent, it's beautiful in its austere simplicity. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely and peaceful hotel during their stay in Pisa. (97139550)
