This is an excellent hotel, professionally maintained, in an unbelievable setting, with wonderful restaurant on the property. We will definitely return when we can stay longer than one night.

Delightful, spacious and well-equipped bedroom in detached block. Everything was near-perfect and, as a retired hotel consultant myself, I found little, if anything, to criticise (unusually!).
Overall: Suggestions, (not crtiticisms): Perhaps the directions and precise location could be clearer - a map would be a tremendous help. The village does not seem easy to find and Satnav definitely doesn't help! An explanation of the workings of the menu would assist 'foreign' visitors like ourselves. The charming host did his very best for us by explaining different dishes in a mixture of Italian,French,German and good, old-fashioned sign language. It was still a little confusing to know exactly what was included in each price category even after letting us sample different dishes but we got there in the end and greatly enjoyed the repast. Some guests without some language abilities mnight find this all a little daunting. Overall, we would rate this as an exceptionally enjoyable one-night stay in a lovely, family-run hotel with superb views of the delightful countryside. The price represented good value, too. Well worth the effort of finding this haven of peace, charm and quality! (97035904)
