1. Location -- it was a great thrill to look directly onto the walls of Avila on one side, and into the open countryside on the other. Accessibility for visits to the city was excellent. 2. The building - lovely to be in an old building most tastefully restored. The bedroom was particularly beautiful. 3. Staff - the concierge and restaurant and bar were all most friendly and helpful in meeting our requests.

Our only criticisms were lack of ventilation in the bathroom which, despite the fact that the hotel has only recently opened, gave the bathroom and bedroom a slightly damp smell. Also, it's not in a convenient place for vehicle access, but who cares, we were not driving.

Instalación y situación del Hotel. Muy acojedor y una reforma muy bien hecha.

Overall: La habitación que nos dieron estaba bajo la cafetería del hotel y esa noche a alguien se le ocurrio bailar flamenco sobre nuestras cabezas. Tras una llamada a recepción cesó el ruido de inmediato.  (97943178)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
