Location. New rooms are nice.

TV didnt work. Typical of centre hotels - often things do not work. When you complain the staff are indifferent. Breakfast is in the basement - quite depressing.

Great location, front desk service was also very good.

Good location means that it is on main square which can be quite loud very late into the night/early morning, especially room on lower floor and facing square. If you want a quiet stay, this is not the place for your. Also, when we were there second time our bathroom drain had the most awful smell that was unpleasant to have to deal with - it came out into the room too.

Overall: We were happy except for the two things listed above.  (107619911)

This hotel should not be allowed to be in business. The rooms were not completed: No phones in rooms The shower door hadn't been completed so it just opened up onto the bathroom with bits of what should have been the door on the floor (and building dust). no soap, shower gel etc no hairdryers no tea making facilities. 1 member of staff for a 130 room hotel, who was just too rushed off his feet to help anyone

Excellent location; very helpful, friendly staff; nice, modern rooms.

Only one: the TV system was not working during my stay

Overall: I would definitely recommend this hotel. It would be hard to find a nicer hotel in a better location in downtown Reykjavik.  (107430876)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
