The Mansfield House Hotel is situated in approximately 10 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Hawick, the largest Border town. The house was originally the private home of a well established local family who tastefully influenced the many distinctive architectural features. Current owners the MacKinnon family have been at the hotel since 1985 and have over the time lovingly restored the hotel, and added a few more features to make the Mansfield what it is today. A warm and homely welcome awaits you. The gardens are gradually being restored to their former glory and the wooded hillside that surrounds the hotel is an adventurers playground. Each of the hotels 12 bedrooms has their own unique personal characteristics, all rooms are en suite with colour television & hospitality tray. Popular wedding venue - licensed for civil ceremonies.

Cancellations

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and extra beds

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 7.50 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

The hotel is approximately 1 mile from the town centre on Weensland Road (a698) to Jedburgh. From the town, the entrance is on the right hand side up a long drive.
