Rookery Hall is set in 38 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside and yet conveniently located close to the M6. The Hall was built in 1816 and today is a fully refurbished elegant country house mansion.
As you pass through the wrought iron gates beside the lodge, and sweep down the long drive between the lawns, to the house set in 38 acres of gardens, wooded parkland and meadows bordered by the River Weaver. The Rookery Hall Hotel bears more than a passing resemblance to a French chateau, but the genuine northern welcome you receive will soon dispel any misconceptions. In the heart of Cheshire's beautiful countryside near Stoke on Trent, Rookery Hall is readily accessible from the North and South and is within easy reach of Chester, North Wales and the M6 motorway. Just 30 miles from both Manchester and Liverpool, it is only 25 miles from Manchester Airport and just a 10 minute drive from Crewe station (6 miles). From the North: - Exit the M6 at junction 18 and follow signs for Middlewich on the A54. - Continue onto the A530 for Nantwich and follow this road for 3 miles, passing the Verdin Arms pub. - Some 400 yards later, turn right, signposted Church Minshull. - In the village, turn left for Nantwich on the B5074, passing the Badger Public House. Rookery Hall is located 3.5 miles on the left. From the South: - Leave the M6 at junction 16 and take the A500 for Nantwich. - Continue straight over the next 3 roundabouts, signposted A500/A51 Chester. - At the 4th roundabout turn right, taking the 3rd exit, still signposted A500/A51 Chester. - Continue straight over the next 2 roundabouts (at the 2nd roundabout, you should spot Sainsbury's superstore on your left). - At the final roundabout take the 3rd exit, signposted the B5074, for Worleston and Winsford. - Rookery Hall is one mile along this road (B5074) on the right-hand side.
