Rookery Hall is set in 38 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside and yet conveniently located close to the M6. The Hall was built in 1816 and today is a fully refurbished elegant country house mansion.
As you pass through the wrought iron gates beside the lodge, and sweep down the long drive between the lawns, to the house set in 38 acres of gardens, wooded parkland and meadows bordered by the River Weaver. The Rookery Hall Hotel bears more than a passing resemblance to a French chateau, but the genuine northern welcome you receive will soon dispel any misconceptions. You'll be charmed by the enthusiastic hospitality you're offered, which will set the tone for your entire stay and create an atmosphere that will quickly make you feel completely at home. In fact, with its mellow sandstone walls, polished mahogany panelling, ornamental ceilings, deep-buttoned leather, sumptuous sofas, rich brocades and stained glass; the very fabric of the building radiates warmth and comfort. Far from being intimidated by the Hall's stately grandeur, you'll feel totally at ease. It's a feeling that is fuelled by fine wines and award-winning cuisine, as well as the comforts provided by the luxurious rooms. Rookery Hall has been awarded 4-stars by the AA.

Alternatively, those who desire additional privacy can enjoy an intimate meal in one of the private dining rooms The hotel’s award-winning chef and his team prepare everything personally, from the home-baked bread rolls to the ice creams and sorbets. The team have built up special relationships with suppliers they know they can trust to provide only the finest ingredients, which they use to create dishes that are as exciting as they are mouth-watering. To accompany your meals, you can choose from a wine list that includes fine and rare wines, as well as favourites from the old and new worlds. The list itself has been carefully designed to guide you to a wine that will suit your mood and taste, as well as complementing the food you are eating. If you are booking a bed and breakfast rate where dinner is not included in your package, please consider your dining arrangements at the time of booking. In the heart of Cheshire's beautiful countryside near Stoke on Trent, Rookery Hall is readily accessible from the North and South and is within easy reach of Chester, North Wales and the M6 motorway. Just 30 miles from both Manchester and Liverpool, it is only 25 miles from Manchester Airport and just a 10 minute drive from Crewe station (6 miles). From the North: - Exit the M6 at junction 18 and follow signs for Middlewich on the A54. - Continue onto the A530 for Nantwich and follow this road for 3 miles, passing the Verdin Arms pub. - Some 400 yards later, turn right, signposted Church Minshull. - In the village, turn left for Nantwich on the B5074, passing the Badger Public House. Rookery Hall is located 3.5 miles on the left. From the South: - Leave the M6 at junction 16 and take the A500 for Nantwich. - Continue straight over the next 3 roundabouts, signposted A500/A51 Chester. - At the 4th roundabout turn right, taking the 3rd exit, still signposted A500/A51 Chester. - Continue straight over the next 2 roundabouts (at the 2nd roundabout, you should spot Sainsbury's superstore on your left). - At the final roundabout take the 3rd exit, signposted the B5074, for Worleston and Winsford. - Rookery Hall is one mile along this road (B5074) on the right-hand side.
