Set within in its own attractive gardens, this modern 3-star hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of Stornoway, just across the road from the golf course leading onto historic Lews Castle grounds.
Rightly known as 'Stornoway's finest hotel', the Cabarfeidh (pronounced cab-ar-fay) provides a relaxing base for both business and leisure travellers. It is also bookable for functions or meals in the Solas Restaurant.
There’s a diverse range of shops, serving local and tourist needs. Visitor attractions include an excellent museum of local history, the Lewis Loom Centre where you can learn about the history of Harris Tweed and the delightful grounds of Lews Castle.

A recent renovation programme has provided 40 bedrooms of very comfortable standard, quality fabrics, pleasant decor and modern lighting.
Solas Restaurant enjoys a well-deserved reputation for first-class Scottish and modern cuisine. Every meal is individually prepared to the highest of standards from the freshest of local produce and our seafood is drawn straight from local waters.
By car from the ferry terminal: - Follow signs into and through the town centre. By car from the airport: - Follow signs to Stornoway (about 8 to 10 minute's drive) and turn right into Matheson Road at the 2nd roundabout, just after the Council Offices. - Turn right at the roundabout at the end of Matheson Road, then continue past the Co-op superstore on your right. - Turn left at the second roundabout (toy and baby shop opposite) and the hotel is around 50 metres on your right.
