In the heart of Whitley Bay, this traditional family run guesthouse offers great value, comfort and good service, alongside a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
On a quiet avenue near the seafront, overlooking Whitley Park, the Park Lodge is just minutes from Whitley Bay's beach, the indoor leisure pool, the town centre and the metro station. The convenient location and good transport links also make the guesthouse a good base for visiting historic Northumbria and all areas of Newcastle and Tyne and Wear.
Established for 30 years, the Park Lodge continues to provide quality service at good value rates. All of the rooms have Freeview TV's, hairdryers and hot drink facilities. The bathrooms all have wet room style power showers.

There are 16 rooms, most with en-suite facilities and some with sea views. All of the rooms are similarly decorated to a very high standard.
The guest house has an attractive lounge with a large coal fire, perfect for relaxing in the evening. We do not offer evening meals but, there are several very good restaurants within a few minutes' walk.
By Car (from the A1): - From the A1, follow the signs for the A19 and towards the Tyne Tunnel. - Then take the A1058 East and continue on until you reach the seafront. - Take the 1st exit off the mini-roundabout and continue along the seafront until you reach a set of traffic lights. - Take a sharp left onto the A193 - Park Avenue. The Park Lodge Hotel is on the left-hand side.
